And that lesson: To not give a shit about what others think about my preference in cars!
I don't need to care about what people think about my choice in cars if they think of it negatively! I shouldn't care if they think it's stupid, nor should I care if they think something is betterer!
Why? Because it's MY car, and no one else's, and that I should and will get the car(s) because I want them, not to impress anyone else!
Just because your car has a V8 or V12 or V10 or Flat-6 or a W-something or any motor, and having it turbocharged or supercharged doesn't make you or anyone better than me!! :D
You know what that means, Bane Kitty?
I don't need this THING, I never did to begin with, at least not right now I don't need to have this:
Am I crazy? Hell yes! Does this sound stupid? Probably! But guess what? Now I don't care, and I never should have hahaha!
Because THIS is all I need :)
I see this car firmly in my future with a good'ole V6! And I don't care what anyone thinks or says! :D
I wish I learned this lesson sooner!
And in turn, I shouldn't be hating on the Ecobust either because it's not for me! I'll still call it the Ecobust, but maybe it does deserve a chance and I shouldn't knock it before I try it someday, and I will.
And further more, whenever the day comes that I can finally have myself a V6 Pony Car, I'm gonna use it to do something I should have done a VERY, LONG, TIME AGO: Ima gonna deck the V6 haters in the schnoz!! Muahahaha!!! :D
Hooray spontaneous life-lessons!
On with your day. :)

Yep! That's why I'm gonna do it! Because it's so fucking wrong, but absolutely RIGHT! :D
Also, Ecoboost weighs more than V6 in any trim, so weight savings, even if it's only like 20lbs lol!

You should look at what tuners are getting out of the 2.3 EB before knocking it.
Some tuners are getting massive numbers out of just a tune. The 2.3 is held back on purpose to not step on the toes of the V8.
It's a mistake to get the V6 instead.

I believe we've had this conversation before but I 100% agree with you. I'd take the V6 over the ecobust any day of the week. Of course I'd rather have the 5.0, but when on a budget V6 all the way. Leaves a lot more room for boost (and performance) when the warranty runs out.

That's awesome man, Glad you've finally realized.
A while back, I realized that I don't need a flashy car. I just needed a car that made me happy, and that I enjoyed having. That's why I'm driving a $2,500 Audi when I could afford 10x the car I bought.
It's an awesome feeling, you're free now! GO GET THAT MUSTANG. GO GET IT.

I know and respect that, but I dont think the EB will be for me personally.
I'm impressed with the power they're getting out of that motor, it's exciting isn't it.
Impressive as it may be, and from a audible sound-perspective, I fear it will not be for me. I've had three 4-cylinder cars, and I say it's time to go back to the N/A life, even if the EB is a smarter choice.
It's a mistake I'll have to make and I'll be happier about it in the end.

If you're getting a V6, just find a 2011-2013 V6 model with the performance package. Much better buy and you can get them for probably under $20,000 now.

It's why I'm going with low displacement and ITBs in my project. 4.2l V8 > 4.0 or 4.3 V6 > 3l+ boosted four. I don't want too much engine, but there's no such thing as too much cylinder. I wants me v8 gargles. Even if they're top tenor instead of baritone.

The platform is actually not getting very good reviews.
Supposed to understeer pretty bad.
If you like the look, that's totally fine. But the 2013 V6 is a much better value.

I'm a bit confused. I totally agree with the point that you should do what you ignore the non-constructive criticism given to by others in an unsolicited fashion. Totally agree with that.
However, I am confused why you want the N/A V6. Nothing wrong with it when you look at it by itself. But in comparison with other options... well, c'mon...

I want an N/A V6 because the 5.0 will kill me in costs and insurance, and while I'm not sure if the Ecoboost will impress me or not whenever I get the chance to test drive one, I don't want my next car to be another 4-cylinder because I've already had three.

Crap!! Now that I decided on the awesome V6, now I can't get the awesome orange; it ruins my thought bubble. Because, I was only wanting orange if I could get a GT because that's a proper classic pony car color from the 70s.
That only leaves "Guard not real Green" and Oxford White!
WHICH OF THESE COLORS IS THE MOST EXOTIC AND EUROPEAN??
Vicente Esteve
> K-Roll-PorscheTamer

If that green was just a little more deep and rich. Less grey. Then, it would be perfect.
The white looks more European though.
